Very good, but somewhat overrated
It's a very good book, don't get me wrong. If for any reason any it was neglected and is not read, then I would say read you. But lack of readership is not a problem, and in the process of this book has been praised a bit too much. So let me give you a few significant negatives to consider:
Essentially, Aminata character seems too modern for my ears.I much doubt whether a woman in the time with his experiments would have really thought as what aminata believe in this narrative as it would be written by a modern black woman sounds roman.Cette or human journey in time, rather than to take you back in time and space.
In addition, it is frankly too Angélique.Toute another novel modern could be scorned for character as too-near perfect as this.
The story is actually surprisingly boring and static in many places - I'm only emotionally engaged by this novel.
Frankly, if this novel does not have to deal with the race and all abuses connected with it, it probably have become very carefully to tout.Oui, it's a good book, but I doubt much as his best word on the subject.

Absolutely loved this book. I could not put and was sad when it ended because I wanted more. I always like historical fiction. Learn me something, that I knew ever written occured. The was vivid. I could picture in my mind, as many scenes. A felt really for the guest character. It discussions very animated in my book club meeting. We always our books 10 rates. This paper is 8 to 10 of everyone.I strongly recommends.
